I met up with Jake, Travis and Lewis from the shop, they all ride for Jokers. Joe did some filming as well. We hit up one ledge then just skated a school with a bunch of nice painted curbs.

Some shredding going on here. Video by Brandon Wong
We do this thing on Jokers Skate Shop’s Myspace page call “Pic Of The Week”. We try to post up a new photo or photos every Friday of: One of our team riders or a photo taken by RUSPIX or MRZ that we think is sick. We may miss a few days here and there but that just means we are out skating.
Be sure to check out MRZ’s photos at: http://www.concretedisciples.com

So I decided that from now on I am going to also post these photos up on here. Here you go!

Had a great time skating Fontana! There was a nice little crew there: Lance Mountain, Salba, Maddog, Ozzie, Dave Ruel, Jake, Devon, Bunk, Anthony & Lance, Mike & Tyler.
Lance Mountain and Devon Lamb:
MRZ took this photo at Bucky’s bowl. I agree with what other people have been saying: “That photo better get a cover shot!”

This last weekend I ended up shooting a few photos of some street skating. Check them out:

Ok, so if I am not shooting skateboarding, my family, or dogs I shoot random things that are funny or my camera becomes the “Perv-Cam”. lol
So I went to my brother-in-law’s ceremony for a degree he got…congrats Martin! Anyways, you know how those ceremonies can get kinda boring so I had to bust out the “P-C”!
I skated the new Venice park last Friday. The park was fun. It had a pretty good pool, a little metal coping bowl, and a tight little snake run. The atmosphere was cool. I have not been down to Venice for a while and of course it is the same sideshow vibe going on. There seems to always be a group of spectators just watching….from old grannys to the local art fags and everything in between. It was nice to be able to skate right on the beach and see little waves crashing in the background. Maddog headed over there with me and I snapped a few shots of him and a ripper names Lucas. On Saturday we went to Fontana2 for a session with Chris Parsi, EJB, Mike C., Joe Runkle, Dave K., Haley, Joshua, Thi, and Tom. It was a nice little session and the weather was not too hot. I saw Ozzie from bluetileobsession.com on the way out. I have one photo of Jake getting the loveseat at Burger’s as well.
